Recent projects

London Concertante

Samuel’s arranged music for multiple concerts for the London Concertante chamber ensemble – Music from the Musicals, Christmas and James Bond scores.

The Three Billy Goats Gruff

Samuel was the Musical Director and Associate Sound designer for the UK premiere of Stiles & Drewe’s The Three Billy Goats Gruff, at the Unicorn Theatre in London and the Minerva Theatre in Chichester.

The Belfast Mixtape

Samuel was one of the arrangers for this BBC concert with the Ulster Orchestra celebrating the work of NHS workers through the COVID-19 Pandemic. It was broadcast on BBC TV and Radio in Northern Ireland.

Amélie

Samuel was the Musical Director and Orchestrator for this re-working of Amélie the Musical into an actor-musician production. It toured the UK and enjoyed two separate runs in the West End. He also conducted and played on the Grammy-nominated cast album.

De Broadway a Hollywood

Samuel arranged the music for the movies and musicals revue show, which has been performed with a star-studded cast in Barcelona and Seville, conducted by Alfonso Casado Trigo.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Samuel orchestrated the music for this new version of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It is enjoying a second UK tour after a West End run and productions in Birmingham and Leeds.

West End Does: Christmas

Samuel’s been involved with Chorus Productions for several years, as an arranger and Musical Director for most of their concert performances, including Christmas, Hollywood and Valentines themed productions.

Getty Music

Through association with Studio Orchestrations (studio-orchestrations.com) Samuel has provided arrangements and orchestrations for Getty Music which are published online and played & sung in churches all over the world.
